Hi, My name is Rayan Omezzine and I have just completed my DofE bronze award with Edukid and it was a vital experience for me and I learned a lot along the way. I decided to support the education project which helps children in Cambodia with the payment of six months in school. I chose this project because it seemed extremely vital to me that every body deserved an education and that economic status should not be a limiting factor. In order to make this possible I started a sponsored run and raise about £250 running 12.4km in 1hr. If I have learnt one thing from Edukid, its managing my time and I think it is very important as a volunteer to prioritize and manage your time. I would really recommend choosing Edukid as your volunteering project in DofE or outside DofE. This experience taught me incredible life skills and has shown me that one small action can make a big change.
